Early in the morning after breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a pristine paradise known for its abundant birdlife and iconic tree-climbing lions. The western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the park's western border, while the eastern side boasts the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. The park's diverse vegetation ranges from savannah to evergreen forest. During your exploration of the park, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and if you're lucky, lions resting in the trees. • DAY 03 - Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning after breakfast, we depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder concealed by steep volcanic walls. The crater is a pristine wilderness featuring sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. It is renowned for its geological marvels and is home to some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. The descent into the crater itself is an adventure, and once on the crater floor, you'll encounter a multitude of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. The crater offers the best opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino, often seen in the open grasslands. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we return to our luxury partner lodges in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

  • DAY 04 - Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Early in the morning after breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River that flows through it. This "river of warthogs" is the primary water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park's vegetation includes elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests. Tarangire is renowned for its elephant families, often seen congregating by the river, as well as giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. Predators like lions and leopards follow these animals closely. Tarangire National Park also boasts more breeding bird species than anywhere else on Earth. After lunch and an extensive game drive, we return to Arusha.
